Default throwing code 43 and 17 help

ok guys i have searched and found nutin i have a 92 accord 4 door which i switched from auto to manual car has been running fine for a couple of months last night i stopped at a light and the car shut off now it idles really low like 200 and i'm throwing a 43 and 17 43 is my fuel pump i kno but if it's bad why would the car start any help here will help guys i need this car running to get to work..........??????????????

17 = vehicle speed sensor

43 = fuel supply system which isn't simply the fuel pump. I think it's a sort of catch-all code when all the EFI sensors don't compare to each other properly. But none of them are bad enough for the ECU to point out which is wrong.
