How much hp can a stock clutch hold?
Im thinkin about piecing together a turbo kit. I know normally you have to upgrade your clutch when the car is boosted but I just replaced the clutch in march with my new engine so I hope i dont have to pay the labor to install a new and the cost of the clutch itself. Im just looking for an estimate just so I have an idea of when to expect a new clutch. Thanks.

How much can it hold?
How much can it reliably handle?
Well, you can infer from a JDM H22 Prelude that a stock clutch can handle at least 200hp. This can be considered on the low side, considering Honda doesn't want their cars breaking down (customer satisfaction and all that) but you must remember that there is no warrantee on a clutch.
Depending on how hard you are on a clutch, I'd guess 225 to 250 hp

Again, the question is not how much can it hold, it's how long can it hold at a certain hp?
It all really depends on hp, the way you drive, time frame.......
There's to many parameters to really say
