does any one out there have hood latch alarms? just wondering becuz the other night my friend's engine compartment got broken into; bottom grill was cut opened and they opened the hood pulling on the wire which runs from the engine to the interior. Just yesterday he showed me how they probably did it...to my amazement..he got the hood opened from underneath in less than a minute...just wondering if u guys know how to prevent this?

 

if your friend has an alarm, just add a switch for the hood, and then wrap your hood wire by the lock with metal ( old style water heater metal straps) and then move the hood release from inside your car to somewhere else..

 

well locking hood pins would work if was on like a CF Hood
