i just bought an 88 and the seats are in really nasty condition.....

i was wondering what other factory seats will be a direct bolt in

will del sol seats work??? my friend had them in his Si and I think
they tuck you pretty good

I'm going to be selling mine soon . I'm also in need of parts will consider trading.
I bought some Del Sol seats from a friend and I just need to make my new brackets so they'll work right. My 91 hatch seats are blue vynil.They're not in perfect shape but they are decient.I'll have pictures to post soon.If your interested let me know.

Del Sol Seats fit into the 88 CRX. We fitted them into my car without even modifying the brackets too

 

i put prelude seats in my 88 civic not a bolt in but man do they feel nice

Technically they didn't "bolt" right in...let's just say that we made new holes on the floor. The seats turned out real firm and stable.

I put 91 Si seats in my 89 Hatch, first they sat too high. So i cut the **** out of those two humps that run across the floor, nice fit until the damn driver side seat broke, the bucket was cracked, si I now have a set of 5th gen seats in it. Not bad, a little cutting anr reinforcing from the bottom, nice fit. I repositioned the seats further back because i'm a tall guy, no short people can drive my car now

I have a 88 Civic Standard...bought 89 crx SI seats...they don't fit. Only 88 seats bolt into 88 cars. If its like mine, then one of the rails is short and is mounted towards the middle of the seat instead of on the edges like all the other seats after it.

Intersting note: I ran into a guy who had vigor seats (leather + power) in his 90 crx si. He said they bolted in. I dunno about bolting in, but it was a 90 crx Si and he did have huge leather power seats.
