200 MPH in a 2001 Civic

Look at the deformation of the front grill. Behind the steel plate is a stock honda civic grill. It's folding in from the air pressure.
Also look at how the speed is tearing away the upper windshield trim and the passenger side drip rail trim.

Now ya see the turbo and downpipe size on a high $ budget civic that can do 200mph?? Tell me why everyone else wants a turbo setup THAT big for their street civic? Thats a very very effecient engine, and amazing to prove that a B series can do 200mph. Hell yeah.

he's in a 1.5 liter class, it's easier to destroke down to 1.5 from a b16 than a k20

Actually I don't think its destroked--I think it was sleeved with very thick sleeves to get a smaller bore( maybe 77-78 mm) The only reason they dropped displacement is to try to go for the speed record (using forced incuction and gasoline ---I think) under 1500cc. Not for any performance advantage....
