The car will crank when it wants...And when it cranks it sounds like a scrapping noise, then it'll crank over...Is the timing off? Or does it have something to do with the starter?...Also how exactly do i set the idle?..I read in Chiltons, that u have to disconnect the eacv and to reset, remove the hazard fuse for 10 seconds...But it's not makin a big difference...Any help guys?...Any advice will help...!!!Thanx

 

I'd say the starter. Pull it off and have them test it. Take the battery with you too, can't hurt.

 

there is a ground on your thermostat. try making it better..like run another ground wire from it to a good location. I was having the same problem not to long ago. starts great now.
