hey guys anyone know what a sp sensor stands for? 99 civic, its on the same fuse as the alternator
i'm looking into this for a friend who is a tranny specialist, and yes i searched through 874 archived sensor topics already, its for a 99 civic, the fuse for the alternator and sp sensor ? keeps blowing, he is trying to trace the problem and i have no idea what the sp sensor stands for, if anyone can help me with this it would be much appreciated, thanks in advance! for any help.
same weird **** happend to me. you knwo what it was:
the intake air temp. sensor.
check that.
the intake air temp. sensor.
check that.
According to the Helms, the only fuse that the alternator is hooked to is Fuse 15 (7.5A) in the under-dash fuse relay. This fuse is also responsible for the VSS (vehincle speed sensor) EVAP 2-way valve, O2 sensor primary, EVAP control canister and purge valves, and the ECU. If it keeps blowing, then you might have a wire grounding somewhere it is not supposed to. I hope this helps.
