i have a STD hatch and i am looking into buying a d15b2 vtec just the block. i do have the si tranny. (four speed , STD motor aswell). will the d15b2 bolt right up to the si tranny or do i need another tranny. i don't think so just because it is a single cam that i want to replace with but i'm not sure. i know i will need the wiring harness and that's no problem but if someone can help me out. i'm unsure and would like some help. thanks.

 

That i know of all D series trannys work with D series engines and both Blocks you have a SOHC

 

any d series are interchangable
