right when i start my car up, the maint. required light beeps 6 times and flashes 11 times. i dont have a repair manual yet, and i tried looking on line breifly, but i couldnt find anything.

How long have you had your car? It shouldn't beep, unless it's the startup sound (seatbelt chime). Nothing can really beep in the car.

The Maint. Req. light will flash a few times during initial startup for the first few hundred miles. Then it will stay on solid until it's reset by you or the dealer. There are SOOO many threads about this, what it means, and how to turn it off.

Find them yourself....but just to calm you down, there is nothing wrong with the car. It goes on at a preset mileage every so often.

 

hah, i'm an idiot.. it is just the start-up beep.. but i thought it may have had something to do with the light. sry
