hey...im lookin for an engine that will produce the most performance for my integra....i heard i can switch a Prelude 2.2 Vtech in it...is there nething better for performance?

 

First, VTEC has no H in it - you will get flamed for that...if you're lucky people will post images of VTECH phones on this thread for you.


What is your budget and what are you going to do with this.

Read posts in the other forums - Forced Induction, Hybrids, & All Motor - also look at the Teg FAQ post.

B-Series motors swap in with the least amount of hassle and modification, with the B18c5 being the best stock motor.

For more money, yes, you can drop an H22 in there or K20, but you will need motor mounts and otehr accesories that will bring the price up very quickly.

Forced induction is your other option. For roughly the same price you can install a turbo that will give you more HP then a swap.

The cheapest mod with the most HP gains is a Nitrous set up, however the drawback to this is that it is not on all the time...
