Default done h22a swap, fuel not priming straight away??????????????????

Hi, I have done my H22a swap into my Euro Accord (ce8) for the second time now, someone wrote my first car off. I have a P28 ECU.

Problem: When I turn the ignition on the fuel doesnt prime straight away, so obviously I cant start the car. How long it takes to eventually prime is completely ramndom. Somtimes I have to wait 2secs or maybe 10mins. Seems to take longer in cold weather, but not sure this is relevant. Other ECU's work fine.

Do any of you electricians out there know of any circuit board components that might change under different temps. I was looking at QM1 on the board, I'm not exactly sure what the component is called.

Thanks

I have the same problem in my cb7 with a H22 swap. I normally just crank the engine til it starts. I have been wondering what it is. Anybody?

That happened to me when my stock pump starting to go out. I would have to turn the key on then off a couple of times until I heard the pump kick on. I highly doubt it's an ECU issue. How old is your pump?

I switched to a different P13, without a difference. My fuel pump is 13 years old. I had a feeling that might be it. That's why there is a Walboro sitting in my room, waiting to go in. Now if I can find the time to do it.

If the problem goes away when you change out the ecu then you have cured your own problem. Does the car start every time with the old ecu? If so then just get a new p13.
