Default hello everyone, im new here.

whats up guys/girls? i just recently bought my s2000, and was told this would be the site i should sign up with. i have a 2003 grey/silver beauty with all red interior. only had 13500 miles on it, and in one week have put on 750 miles, loving the car :D. it was my bday present to me, and my buddy is buying me vtec controller, and shift **** for my birthday as well. next pay check im thinkin of getting AEM CAI. but my first question is, is that the best intake for the money? has anyone had success/failure with this particular bolt on? any suggestions for a different kind that they have had good luck with? any help would be appreciated.

Congrats on the purchase. I'd suggest putting off the mods for a bit and enjoying the stock car a bit more. No offense, but if you're having to wait for the next paycheck to get an intake, you might want to save that for any unforeseen events.

Anyway, have fun with the car!

thats a good point, the only reason i said next paycheck because school just started for me, and books are expensive. but wise suggestion, now that i think of it, it would be the most intelligent thing to do, never know what might happen.
and im having a blast, my best buddy has a 350z and another buddy bought an 2005 evo rs on the same day i got my s2k, so its a blast driving around with them.

Tell your friend to save the cash on the VTEC controller and go with something else...maybe HE can get you the intake for it instead, you'd be better off getting the CAI over the vtec controller.

And yeah, its deffinately a great car...and very fun to drive. Welcome to the family.

i would tell him to do that, but he already ordered it when he got his car, he didnt have much money when he bought his car, so i bought him a few things, and hes returning the favor, i love good friends :D...i should pay attention in class, haha goddamn civil engineering classes and being able to surf the internet during class.
