buddy club spec 3+ dyno
I just put these cams in with valvetrain on jdm gsr motor and is it me or there no top end, it feels like all mid-range even after tuned with hondata. It sorta sucks because when I race it I fall back to around 7500 rpms which is out of the powerband. Anyone have experience with these cams or did my tuner do a crappy job. The tuner also didn't even touch my cam gears, he said" He dosent know anything about buddy club" Here's the dyno chart.
310cc injectors
skunk2 IM
I/E and fpr
9100 red line
If you can't read it, its 181whp and 127tq.

Get a tuner that isn't a whining bitch. Tuning is tuning, not automatically knowing what cams get what advance or retard. Every motor is different, so you're going to do the same procedure for every set of cams.

Go to Ultimate in VA. Have Jason Hunt tune you car. Most people advance the intake cam 2 degrees on those cams.

Since your power keeps increasing up untill the redline, shift at redline. Every RPM you go up will deliver more power.

Everytime u change up a gear u loss torque at the wheels. In my s1 gbox for e.g i loss about 35% torque at wheels changing 1st to 2nd, then 30% 2nd to 3rd then 25% 3rd to 4th.
From your plot u are only 10% down on peak torque at 8400rpm so i say keep reving to 9100rpm (assuming torque doesnt fall off more then 25% at 9100)

graph looks great
but u can make at least another 3-5 with cam gear adjustment
do u have a before and after cam dyno to show gain?thats alot of power out of a gsr if its a dynojet
as high as ur reving
u should ve gotton the 4s
