It may last for awhile or blow up right away. It all depends on the engine management, tuning, and the condition of the engine.

tuning is critical, personally i'd keep it under 10.

i wouoldnt push the y series over 7... maybe the z6 at 10.. i have seen some of them run for a long time ... ONLY ON A GOOD TUNE... you can blow your motor up on 4 psi... it all depends on the tune

good tuning it getting an ecu(hondata, crome, uberdata) and then taking it to a shop to set it up on a dyno and having them tune it for your, no real way to tune without it being on a dyno, the whole "i feel more power in my seat" type of tune is the worst thing to do when messin with a turbo.

I ran 10 psi on my D16z6 for about 2 days until that blew to all hell. I was running a vortech FMU and AEM pressure reg, so maybe about 6-7 to be daily driven if everything is stock

wat about increasing fuel..then would it be better? and i was thinking 2 install AIC after i turbocharged it ...all this matter is cuz of my friend he hav an zc 1.6 dohc and he turbocharged it and his car cannot be rightly tuned..once he didnt know of leaning of fuel he accelarated his car his piston got broken..why was taht ? and now he rebuild it his car is very much better now and he installed fpr and his car start performing good..will try on trax...

dont get an fpr or fmu... just do it the right way the first time... its not good to force more fuel than your injectors can handle...

heres what to do... okay... get a 1st gen eclipse turbo fuel pump.... get 1st gen eclipse 370cc ( believe ) injectors... with those there is no resister box you need to worry about..

now that will take care of your fuel problems... it doesnt make it safe for turbo if u just increase the fuel pressure... because what you want is to pump more gas in there not more pressure

okay now... either buy another ecu... or take urs down somewhere respectable and that has been around for a while and knows what they are talking about... tell them ur setup.. what size injectors are u running what size fuel pump.. what size/ trim turbo.. everything... tell them everything.. have them make a base map for u to drive ur car to get tuned... get the ecu back put the turbo on.. and drive it directly to a shop that can tune the car for you on a DYNO...

if you do that and do it the right way.. dont try to take shortcuts by putting a fpr and fmu in cheap chip or anything... if you do it right the first time... dont run anymore than 7 daily drivin that motor will last you a long time

if you are planning on running any FI, you shouldnt be trying to cut any corners to save on fuel consumption. the very little money you will save in the short term your motor will last, will be long very easy lost when you melt the piston or blow a Headgasket. Listen to what these guys know and tell you. Get it tuned right on a DYNO with a proper managemtn system (uberdate, crome, hondata). when you are building a turbo motor the last thing you should be worried about how your fuel cost.

First of all go back to elementary school, quit using so many drugs, and learn to speak ******* English. Second, try searching. We don't want to answer all of your stupid questions about bullshit that you SHOULD know if you put a turbo on a car. Like the question about vacuum, it was at 12 because at idle a car should pull between 12-15 inches of mercury.

uhhhh.... if you put 200cc injectors in you would be downgrading from stock... i believe they are either 220 or 240 stock... just do it right man... put the injectors in and fuel pump... if you run that setup untuned at 8 its gonna blow... maybe not today or not tomarrow but its gonna happen... even if u run it at 4 it could blow with it bieng untuned

gl with your motor

10 might last a little while or it could blow up right then. what i would do is get the right piston for the the right compression

its hard to say how long it will last, it might blow in 10mins or run for 2months. either way, do the right thing and tune it. plus learn to use the search function up on the right top corner. it will help you out a bunch.

I tune on the street and my car runs just fine at 12psi, the key is to have all the iteams you need. Your going to need a wideband, uberdata and a laptop with datalogging. If your not willing to look into these things nor spend the money then Fi is not for you.
