ive had my 91 Honda Accord LX for about a two years... and ever since ive had it my speedometer havn't worked so that means my mileage isnt working.. and acouple weeks ago.. i would fill my car up with gas... and now my Gas Meter will only be at half then 5 minute later it will show its on E but i know its not.. don't understand whats going on there but.. me and my dad try to find the Speedometer Cable and had no luck at all we looked everywhere.. 91-94 Honda Book didnt say anything about it either... has anyone had this problem if so how did you fix it... Thanks alot..

 

sound like u could have 2 different problems......

#1 ..the reason u could not find a speedo cable is because there isn't one , it is controled electrically ,,as for speedo inop it could be a speed sensor located on top of tranny , below t-stat housing it has 3 wires going to it ,one is orange,,or the gauge in the instrument cluster or wiring problem,,,,,,
As for the fuel not reading properly it could be the fuel sending unit ot the gauge in the instrument cluster ......

there is a post in here that i started called ( manuals ) there is a manual for ur particular car take a look at it and see if it will help you to diagnose properly ..

by the way is there a chk engine lite on??

 

No Engine Light at all... or no Lights for that matter
