Tail light bulbs burn out fast
I bought my 96 Integra LS around the 30th of last month. About... 8 days ago, my tail/brake lights went out on my way home from work. I just assumed the bulbs were old, so I went to Autozone and bought some plain jane replacement bulbs that matched the numbers on the ones I took out. Tonight, I left work again, unlocked my car via the alarm, and saw my tail lights flash. After the 15 minute drive home, I got out and armed the alarm, taking notice that the tail lights didn't flash. I stood behind the car and locked/unlocked my car a few times to make sure it wasn't a fluke. Appears that my replacement bulbs lasted a whole damn week!
What could be causing the bulbs to burn out so fast? I have no idea how long the original bulbs lasted... but it had to of been more than 2 weeks, since I had the car that long.

perhaps a short.
did you try returning those bulbs and going with a new set?
also check your tail light wiring harness for any damage.

vibration is the number one killer of bulbs. its more common on work trucks, etc.
thats still odd that you went thru bulbs in a week, being that when I had my subwoofer setup in the car, i never went thru a tail bulb in years.

are you sure your getting the right bulbs?....i had one of my fog light bulbs on my one peices keep blowing and i found out that i was getting the wrong buld.....i put the right one in it hasnt blown since
You may also want to check you brake light switch. This switch is located under your dash by your feet. This switch is located on a bracket so that the button is touching the brake pedal. this switch control if and when your brake lights come on by closing a circuit when the pedal is depressed. Try this..
