I was in the process of adding the knock sensor on my pw0 ecu (in pin b18) and noticed that the wire on the harness that would go into the ecu has a wire coming out of position b17 that doesn't go anywhere. Can anyone lmk what it is for? TIA.

 

bump for an answer....p.s. this is on a 89 CRX HF harness if that makes any difference.

 

B15 & B17 (white wires) connect together in the harness and go to the igniter

 

Alright, I noticed that was some sort of "loop" thing to another wire on the harness. What exactly is the "igniter"???

From what I have searched it is the "igniton output" or something like that. Like I said, mine is looped from b17 to b15, but from there it doesn't go anywhere, almost like it was cut or something. The car stars and runs well, just curious what it should be hooked up to.
