EFF Top Secret Gold....**THI$** is GOLD!!? (not a car but worth the look)
I posted this in the BMX bike thread, but it's so purdy, I think it deserves it's own.!
Really though, seems like quite a few GOLD ****** on here. so I'm pretty sure you peeps will dig it......some OG's will at least!

Some stuff I came across today.....brought back A LOT of good memories. Mine wasn't GOLD, but it was just as purdy. It's long gone though. That's life.........(I guess)
Anyways, here's what should be the HOLY GRAIL of all OG freestyle peeps, especially Trick Star fans.....Woody Itson on one of the very few G
LD plated Trick Stars ever made!?

article on it here:

lots of cool reading, info, & pics on Hutch bikes at this site:

EDIT:
Looking at that pic of Woody on the GOLD Trick Star, I just noticed his riding gear matches the Trick Star I built.....baby blue frame+fork, chrome bars+FLIGHT cranks+other small parts, white tires+brakes/+seat, & pink SKYWAY Tuff II's+ wht/pink ODI Mushroom II grips.........weird just realizing the coincidence.....don't recall building it to match Woody's gear. Baby blue has just always been one of my favorite colors & I threw the white+pink+chrome bits in for contrast (pink was pretty hot back then though....80's preppy days)

that IS an OG Trick Star.....it just isn't one of the OG gold ones. the guy had everything plated and tried to replicate one as close as possible but using as many OG parts as he could find. Details are in the link/article i posted after the pics, but he even got Woody Itson to donate an OG set of the special stickers made for the gold Trick Stars!
oh, but there were 2 different versions of the Trick Star though....the early ones had small flat platform like front pegs on the front forks. People were having problems w/them breaking them off, so Hutch switched to welded on round pegs---version I had.
also, Trick Star frame+forks were mostly made in the US, but the later ones were made in Taiwan. Supposedly, you could tell by the rear top tube platform. The US made ones would have the platform tubes going past the support tubes. The Taiwan ones just cut off at the supports.
