Searched but couldn't quite find the answer. So anyway, B16 VTEC solenoid has a wire leading from the actual solenoid, and a green connector from a pressure switch (Maybe?) My question is I broke the green plastic around the actual connector, can this be swapped with another pressure switch from say a D series? I know the solenoids are interchangable from same series (B to B, H to H, you get the idea) but what about that green switch?

 

i dont think u can pretty sure u gotta keep it b to b imo if ur gonna get a new one might as well be the rite one unless u got the d series sitting around in which case give it a try

 

yeah i have the d series layin around but wanted to know if i should even bother

you should be able to sense the d series vtec solenoid work with the b series engine so it should and if it doesn't just swap the solenoids i know that thoughs are interchangable

 

yes you can swap out for the d series one. they are interchangeable
