Civic STD linkage
Since search isn't working, could someone tell me offhand whether my 4-speed linkage will be just fine with a 5-speed Civic DX tranny? Same vintage, 89-91, same series - D. I assume yes, but would like to confirm.
Yes, I know I want an Si tranny, but this is what I have for now..

I never noticed any differance between the 2, though I did notice that the linkage itself is differant for the STD, there's a 3 inch arm at the back that sticks out. I say go for it, at worst you get to make a junkyard run for a DX one if it won't fit.
