Kenso!! I hope you can help me, as you have helped everyone else--You are like an angel for TL's!!!!
Anyhow I just got a 96 acura 2.5tl and the battery went dead--stupid me left the headlights on all day!! Well after I got the jump, I realized that my radio was out!!! It needs a code--but the serial # is nowhere in plain sight!!! I called ACURA with the VIN # to the car, and they won't help me. They charge 100 to take the ardio out and get the serial #!! Any way, I was hoping you had some suggestions on how to obtain the serial # or take the radio out myself and save some $$. After I get the serial #, I am hoping that either I can get the code from ACURA, or from you, if you would be so kind....Thanks, I really appreciate any help you can give...

Look for a sticker on the side of the glovebox or on the bottom of the ashtray. Sometimes the code or serial number is placed there. Otherwise you would have to remove the radio to get it. I have been asked not to provide radio codes here in the interest of discouraging radio thefts, etc.

Scratch that request Ken. I got the code from a guy on Ebay, only cost $9. Better than paying the high priced dealer. I couldn't wait too long for the code, it was off my wife's MDX and you know how impatient women are... Thanks anyway.
