thermoswitch install

Can someone give me a quick how-to on installing a new thermoswitch. Where is it located, etc. Thanks.

You mean fan switch? it's by your oil filter.

Or if it's the A/C related switch, then it's under your dash, behind the glovebox.

on my d series. its on the back of the motor and I belive it screws in and out.
