broken wheel stud in the rear.

Default broken wheel stud in the rear.

is it hard to fix? anyone know of any good write ups?

Just replace the whole rear wheel hub. Its the part that carries the bearings, wheel studs, ect. Its not hard at all. Theres info everywhere, im too lazy to look right now.

WTF? whole rear hub? when its so easy to pop out the old stud and pop in a new one!! omg what stupid advice youve given


get the caliper/rotor or drum off and youll see how ******* easy it is

cool thanks. i think it would be alot cheaper to do just the stud too. if i was going to replace the whole hub i minus well convert to disc but im poor.

that top link is for the Fronts.... the rear you would use a punch and/or hammer to get the old stud out... take off hub slide in new stud and put hub back on... saves you a good amount of money $3 vs what $50 for a hub?

well i got it done it wasnt hard at all and it cost me 4.50 for two studs thanks for the help.
