Honda Odyssey Question....(Out of place I know..)
Hey guys. Long time Honda guy, still own my Civic EF but because of the constant additions of children to my family, been forced to add a minivan to the fleet. (BTW, if anyone knows what causes the whole pregnancy thing, fill me in.)
Got a 2000 Honda Odyssey LX 3.5L VTEC. She's got the J35A1 series engine, 210 HP stock but that can and will change. I tell you though, just stock, she moves.
Anyhow, I'm looking to do a rear disc conversion and been doing some research on this site, as none of the Odyssey oriented sites have anything on it. A few of the guys I've asked told me to keep dreaming. All they seem to want to talk about is how many soccer ***** you can haul around in it. My talk about how much potential the Odyssey has for power is a bit out of place.
My problem is that of course none of the conversion related posts on this site are relevant to my situation and secondly, all the posts are old and the images that are hosted elsewhere are not available anymore so I can't see most of the procedures.
Anybody out there have some procedures on a rear drum-disc conversion that I could look at? Or any pointers/advice on doing something like this? I'm sure most of you haven't even seen a Odyssey except in your rear view mirror so I wont hold my breath waiting for anything. I do appreciate anythign and everything I get in response though.
