You'll need to know which color, use the exterior color code on the sticker on the inside of your driver's door, the mirror comes from the factory pre-painted.

For my '99 I've replaced both mirrors, one about 5 years ago and one this past spring. It's a relatively easy replacement, the only part that took a little time was removing (then replacing) the door panel.

MSRP on a '99 mirror was ~ US$200, but the '99 is a "bendable" mirror while the '98 is a fixed mirror* so the '98 might be a little cheaper. Anyway, you can buy them at about 20% or 25% off from online stores. I have no idea what the going rate for these mirrors is at a junkyard, but if you go this route make sure you know what the color code for your car is and get a mirror from the same color car.

* The way to quickly tell the difference between a '98 and '99 is to look at the side mirror, if you see a black line (from where the mirror bends), it's a '99. If you look in the back dash and see tether mounts but everything else is the same, it's an '00.
