Hey guys, I was wondering about the AEM V2 cold air intake, it says its for year 02-03 year rsx type s, but nothing for 05. Is this maybe because when they printed this, 03 was the newest model? Will it fit my 05 just fine? Thanks, also Is the V2 CAI going to have problems with water when it rains? thanks.

The AEM V2 for the RSX is not a CAI design but rather a SRI design. As far as what years it will work on I am not sure at all so I wont even take a guess as it might be misleading.

Oh and since it is a SRI you should be ok with driving in wet conditions. But as always with driving with any kind of intake be smart.

yea i've seen the v2 in an 05...so it should fit

 

The V2 is a short-ram intake, but it's rumored to be one of the better ones. Any 02-04 V2 should fit on the 05's fine.

 

i've got the V2 in my 05-s, which was for the 02-04. it fits perfectly.
