Does anyone know if there's a difference between the cams that come from AKH the US distributor, or cams that come straight form Toda of Japan? Because i got a good deal from Japn but the person wanted me to make sure that the JDM ones will work on the USDM Type-R engine. Thanks for any help.

The only difference is that you won't get any technical support from Toda USA here.

 

Sure you do. I call Alan at akh all the time! And I got my cams from the motherland. Besides, all the tech support you need is right here in this forum.

I just feel better ordering straight from japan. Cheaper, and you don't have to worry about the sheit breaking like some us distributors get..... :/

But yeah, they're the same cams - if you mean a,b, or c grinds.....

But they can also cut you some custom cams if you order them straight from Toda of Japan. How about some spec D's?
