ok i have a stroy to tell and please let me know what the best thing to do is here i go. i broke a cv boot about a month ago and just last week took my car to the local shop to get them fixed, ya i know how easy of a job it is now.but the reason i took it to a shop is becasue i have never done axles before, so when i got the car out of the shop i noticed some weird feelings so i took the car back to the shop and come to find out, the had installed two of the same axles both passenger. i was late for work and the mechanic was working fast to help me try and make it for work(-my car was on the lift and it was my only mod of transpertation-) we didnt have time to wait on a new axle, so he took a part off my old axle, dont know the name of the part but it was the peice that slid into the tranny he fixed all of that and my car was back toghter. it felt ok for the first 8 hours but now they are back to poppin again alot when i turn the wheel or back up etc. This is really pissen me off! i do have torn ball joint covers but there is absolutley (sp) no play from the ball joint i dont know what to do? if i take it back to the shop will they just blame it on the ball joint? im about ready to drive my car off the closest cliff.

 

there is no way he put to passenger side axles on your car, the passenger side axle is like a foot shorter than the driver side...you would have heard more than a noise...

 

i think what they did was used 2 pasnger side inners and the stock outers from a dx tranny and put them in a zc like no inttermediate shaft.what part of the dx is shorter then the zc shaftsthe iner or outer
