By the way, that is not the one Norwood did, I believe. They sold that for the scrap it was, and started over with someone who knew what they were doin. I'm just not sure what the heck is going on with the hood though?????

I just heard over at a Subaru site that Gary Kubo is working with them. Does anybody know if thats true?

 

Gary was working with Subaru at the St. Louis NOPI race a few weeks back.

I'd like to know who came up with the design of the hood. I'm sorry but that makes the car look like ****. I know, I know it serves some kind of function right? Downforce on frt end? I can't tell from the pics but it looks like if anything it would pick the front end up the faster it went. Can someone that knows please shine some light on that "thing"?

The body on the Subaru is the old one that norwood built. The only reason it is on the car is that there was not enough time to build a new body. The front end looks the way it does because there was no thought put into the size of the pletnum and other accesories that would need to go ontop of the motor (the scoop is only for clearance issues). The car has gone from the Moroso event to the body shop, where they are working on the new 06 body. Expect to see the car the way it is for the next few races.

I was there sunday from 11 a.m. to 7 and probably only saw 1 hour of racing total. Same sh*t every moroso!! (in the summer atleast)

atleast there was a bikini contest
