where can i find a cf intake (similar to the j's racing or password jdm one) that can be used with an abs

 

I haven't gotten a new intake manifold yet so I could use the J's Racing intake but I know plenty of cases where the J's intake fits with the abs system. Snug but fits.

Ask around because i dont have first hand experience.

Also watch out for the GSR's lower intake position. I couldn't get the Password:JDM one to fit my GSR. Didn't clear the dizzy and the wireing harness.

 

the JDMpassword.com have the Fake J's intake for ABS. You might not see online, and i never seen it also. But one of my friend and his buddy went straight to the JDMpassword company/store near So Cal and got himself a Fake J's Intake for ABS.
So maybe you need to go there urself and get it.

 

This is on a EK, but you get the idea. The filter is right where the ABS pump would be.

I havent heard anything about a whale ***** for ABS, however I question whether it performs the same as the full length version. No dyno data, no info, no pics on their website. For all I know, it could be a full lenth whale ****, cut off to fit ABS. Ouch. IMO, the ABS version is only for show unless they can back it up with some real numbers.

Yeah, it could be. However, if it is I dont see how that would affect the intake position and whether it would clear the ABS or not.

 

so is there one that will fit a GSR? cause the TB is a lot lower or no?

 

the throttle body is lower on the GSR manifold

ITS HARD TO SEE IN THIS PIC BUT YOU CAN TELL HOW MUCH LOWER IT IS

 

i have the real J's on my ITR w/ ABS, you just have to get the abs model, but i see what you mean with the throttle body position.

 

yea unless the GSR has a skunk2 manifold the TB will be lower.
