Never thought this would happen but got into an accident on the 210 West freeway. Story goes, I was driving home from my sister's bf graduation at Pasadena, going like 60mph (normal freeway speed) with my sister, her bf, and my 6 yr old niece. There were construction so One lane was close. All of sudden the cones were curving into another lane closing off two lanes. Some stupid guy in Toyota Camry cuts me off and slam on his brakes. Didn't have enough time to do anything but slam on my brakes also. I had a split second to decide whether I should swerve into another lane but I was afraid I might hit something else and cause injuries to the passenger especially worrying about my niece, so I took the loss and tried my best to slow down as possible. I Had a hard time to get his information because he doesn't speak english. Ends up my whole front end got fawked up and barely a scratch on his bumper. I know it sux that even though he cut me off and slammed the brakes, I still hit him. It was pretty avoidable if someone slams their brakes on your face. Thank goodness no one was hurt but man... never seen my car like this. Never knew how much I appreciate the car until this accident occurred.

How she looks like now Pretty much headlights cracked, damaged bumper, damaged hood, and so far all I know the radiator broke. Not sure anything else is damaged

Yea even hav witness its hard to fight against. Cops said that even though he did cut u off, you still hit him. Its hard to fight against a rear end collision. I know it sux but had to suck it up. Best i could do is make it a 50-50. The cop told me to talk to my insurance and go from there

 

Stupid toyota driver. You should have slapped that f*cker and tell the police you were just shocked. Good luck fixing it.

Finally got a chance to pop my hood and looks like no engine damage. So basically all I need to replace is the hood, headlights, and JDM radiator support. Anyone selling the Hood or radiator support that is located in socal?

if you are in norcal...i know a shop selling a brand new radiator support for $250...look around in socal...there should be lots of shops that got them...good luck...

#1 He cut me off all of sudden instant merge
#2 We were on a freeway so there were no lights
#3 im not stupid to tailgate someone on the freeway with a pack full of people

 

thx for the comments guys, trying to go through insurance to see whats gonna happen. Hopefully it'll get repaired by the end of next month

Yea, I have full coverage but I know the insurance won't cover aftermarket parts. So im gonna try to figure out if my body shop could get me an estimate and either they get the parts or I get the parts.
