Default My 91 civic std project **PICS**

With so many project threads, I figured I'd add. Tons of work has gone into this car, it was a mess when I got it.

All new oem ball joints, hardware, tie rods, custom made brake lines, calipers, aem pads powerslot rotors, es bushings, sandblasted and painted dx knuckles, shock forks, control arms. Full race traction bar.

I am ditching the cheesy drums for some 00 si rear disc with aem pads and powerslot rotors. Right now I am refinshing the trailing arms to make them look better then new.

jdm cluster, momo wheel

More pics to come!

******* Added 12-23-05 ***** Just got new genuine oem honda hood, fenders and side moldings and PAINTED!!!

I like the omnis a lot, there are so many haters but they really kick ***. It is going to be a track car, has no stereo and not much interior. I only drive it maybe once a week.

It currently has a 95 LS with all the bolt ons and a Y1 tranny. I have 2 other motors and a J1 w/quaife to try out yet.

Its called nightshades..I got it from ebay. Shows a guy on the front of the can with sunglasses. It claims to be transparent and it still shines bright through it. I took them off because they have some cracks and were starting to become fishtanks. I will spray the ones that are on there now, but probably not as dark

No, I got them from kteller last winter and he recently told me that they are not at risk. I think only a few early batches were the only ones affected and from what I hear it takes a lot of force to break them. Combined with the full race front bar and new tires it sticks like glue. The car drives like a go-cart, its so much fun.

Ugh, I feel your pain..

My younger sister bought a gigantic ford pickup and gave me her Civic std.

Let's see, it has been a pain redoing all the bushings and shocks and muffler and whatever else I've done to it. I used Prothane RTA bushings with no complaints yet.

Looks good with those wheels. I borrowed my friends gsr blades for a while and they really looked sharp.

When I got this car, it had a blown up b16a with the worst swap job I had ever seen. Some kind of **** homemade mounts with crossthreaded hardware store non-metric bolts The entire wire harness was junk and soaked in oil....I had to make a new one from scratch. I used most a lot of the 95 harness that came on the motor to make it clean and eliminate a resistor box. It had a ricer three inch straight pipe exhaust that was welded together with no flanges. It came straight out instead of bending, they even notched the bumper out on the wrong side. Push button start, monster tach, all the empty plugs in the dash were painted yellow. The center console and the entire engine bay were painted electron blue pearl I found the drivers side door full of broken glass...someone just put on a new window and did'nt bother to cleanup the mess. The pass side fender was aftermarket unpainted and fit like crap. Literally every part on the car was gone through to make it acceptable again. New oem bumpers and r/f fender, oem body moldings, hasport mounts and shift linkage, del sol shifter, hawker battery, radiator all hoses, ex master cylinder....I could go on, just so much stuff had to be done. More pics coming.

I brought the car back to life and will preserve it. To find a clean ef around here is like finding a needle in a haystack. It gets stored during winters of course

Jacking up on the side like that tilts the whole car, most of the weight is in the front anyways.

I am finishing a couple things this week. A super strong homemade rear strut bar and the rear disc. Pics should be up this weekend. I don't have any shots of it before I did the work
