SPOON/mugen radiator cap
will these be potentially dangerous for the car's cooling system? what i mean is if it will hurt the hoses/clamps etc. becasue of the higher pressure... is it ok to have it on a daily driven car? any one have one, and what are your experiences... thanks

I got the spoon cap for the bling factor and for it's functionality. However it's hard to justify the themostat and coolant switch.
What I'm going to do instead is in the summer, change my fluid to 80% distilled water and 20% ethyl glycol + red line water wetter.
That should be enough for my daily driving and lapping sessions.

I personally will stick with stock and change it more often. The spring on the radiator cap will weaken over time and a 1.3 spoon cap will no long be 1.3, maybe 1.2, 1.1 or less. I consider that as a wearable item. I change it every year instead of using spoon or mugen.
