Please help me! my engine is idleing very high, about 2500 rpms. I thought it might be the throttle body sensor but i dont know what that is , i cleaned out the carb and put sea foam through it. I tried to adjust the idle screw ( near the throttle)but it didnt do much. Is there any more sensors or controlls I can remedy this by?
I really appreciate any help.

 

what year accord? carb? my friend has a carb. in his accord 86 or 88.. initial idleing at 2500 is normal until it warms up..

 

this is why it is such a pain to try to help some of u guys ,, u totally give mixed messages,,,,,,,,,,,,,, throttle body ?? cleaned the carb?? adjusted idle screw near the throttle??? which is it?? it would be easy to figure out if u would put yr and model ,,,,,,,,,,i realize that u r in a jam and need fast help but we cannot give u a proper advice till we know the proper information ,, so relax take a deep breath and go over this again ,,,,from now on anytime u want to start a post and need help ,,,start with,,,,,,,,,,year , model, tranny type,,,,,,,
