my accord is running rich what should i do
So i installed my Air2fuel guage and its keeps saying that im running ruch when the engin is past 4000 Rpms..... like on the auto meter guage im like the 2 green light from the rich sign....what can i do to lean it out???
i wouldnt trust the narrow band to much,if it isreally worrying you, put in on a dyno with a wideband, or have someone hook up a wideband to it and see if it still has the problem. aside from that if you still want to go by the narrowband reading, read up on Uberdata and Crome, or if you got the bills, Hondata.
with the exception of the s2k, honda's run rich.. you'll either have to get a piggy back ecu, stand alone, or alike to tune your fuel curve.
i took my civic to a dyno a few weeks ago.. you can see how, like you said at about 4k rpm, the fuel becomes more rich.. with stoich at 14.7, we're running quite rich..

Please don't do anything until you state if you are running a narrow band or wide band. On another note i am pretty sure you'llo have to get a socketed ecu and get some tuning done. Unless your o2 sensor is bad.
