FS: 90-91 Civic 4 door EX KNUCKLES + CALIPERS 10.3" Big Brakes Rotor for CRX
sold. 2/5/06
gelok
ive got a set of the extremely rare and hard to find 90-91 Civic 4 door EX knuckles. these are what people all talk about being the PERFECT solution to putting big brakes onto any 88-91 CRX and Civic. stock is only 9.5" on all other cars. these brakes are same as INTEGRA rotors, calipers and brake pads as well. I have also included with these knuckles the needed CALIPERS.
better than using integra knuckles which are taller and DO have an effect to geometry.
COMPLETE BOLT ON! (well, except rotors. but who wants used rotors?
Sorry, i DO NOT have the 15/16" master cylinder or brake booster available for sale. I do NOT sell unusable and dangerous brake parts. (i should have gotten the booster tho... shoot.)
I have a FIRM, F-I-R-M! asking price. meaning dont even try to ask for anything less than the asking price of these. remember, CALIPERS (and used pads) INCLUDED.
Condition: excellent shape! there was no front damage on the car these came from. no reason for it to be bent. even the dust shields are in resonable good condition.
Price: $200 NOT including shipping
Cost of shipping:
East coast: $50
West coast: $30
somewhere in the middle: $40.
again, shipping price is FIRM. Ive shipped a set of these before and I know how much it costs. I'm shipping 2 heavy chunks of iron metal, it aint cheap! but im not into overcharging for shipping.
im VERY open to local pickup, LOS ANGELES. im in Redondo Beach and drive to Fullerton weekly.
if these dont sell, im throwing them on my street car. so no big deal if i cant sell.
these are NOT pics of the ACTUAL ones for sale this time. picsa re from a previous set, but theyre the same pretty much dust shields are in a little worse shape. balljoints are in unknown condition too, one of them has a torn boot.
you can verify that these are the PROPER 90-91 CIVIC EX knuckles because they are embossed "LH3-A" instead of "LH3-H", respectively.

Tyson (5:33 PM 9/8/2005): they would work just like the normal CRX hubs

Tell me about it...way too much work man. I remember taking off a set in one of the hottest days this past summer! Sucks too cuz it all has to be done by hand. There were 2 EX's that day, but i said F it and passed on the other one, lol. It just wasnt worth it. Plus i had to return the axles later since i couldnt get the 32mm nuts off.
GL with ur sale.

i couldnt get the rotor off this time, they made me buy it and not be able to return it. wtf am i going to do with a used rotor?
the axle nuts came off surprisingly easy this time. ive figured out the easiest way to lock up the hub from spinning is sticking a 12mm wrench in the rotor's vanes and it locks up with the caliper. then ill find or pull off a muffler for a cheater bar if i have too. the whole process of pulling spindles is still a bitch tho.

Yea rotor screws got stuck on me too! ***** a bitch man...for that though i grabbed 10mm or 12mm bolts...forgot which size...and threaded them into the rotor. It ended up cracking the rotor into pieces on one and on the other it just snapped the head off the screw.
excellent, so since the components are same lengths, i wont have an camber issues? i have a friend with 99 si knuckles and his crx and his wheels stick outside the fenders by and inch or so. and horrible camber. one extra question? I want to get the full polyurethane bushing kit. so this means i will have to mix and match, since its hybrid , or no?
