hey... a new toy (I've been out of the honda world for a month or 2).

anyway, Apexi has everything on their site to assist you with their products.

http://www.apexi-usa.com/support_main.asp

everything's their, I've used their site before to assit me with the 1st install i ever did with their auto timer.

and in regards to "im not sure exactly what this is, but is it like a tach???"

I found this off of google =
http://www.alamomotorsports.co....html

my own 2cents:
It looks like a good add on, but i get everything that little device has to offer and MUCH MORE becasue i simply chipped my ecu for a usb connect and utilized UBERDATA = My laptop has awesome monitoring capabilities. I'm quite sure you can modify your ecu and purchase the parts for a cheaper price than you would spend on this device. I bet if Apexi had this toy a few years back i probably wouldnt have learned to chip ecu's (I wanted the monitoring capabilites).

I have it in my 91 dx. I just followed the wiring diagram for my car. Even though it said for a b16 ef9, the wiring was still the same as far as power/ground/speed/rpm signal and what not. I have not got the g-sensor yet but I will get that later on. I even wired up the speed limiter disabler and it works.

I didn't solder anything just butt-connected everything. It has worked fine for over 2 years.

Setting it up is easy to, I haven't done the shift light yet, but if you set your max rev (mine is 7200), The revs will start blinking when you get close to that rpm. Make sure you up the max speed, or your speed on the rsm will start blinking at like 55 mph (well what ever that is in kph).

I didn't even have to change the wiring around when I converted to odb-1, well that's a given there.

I use it mainly because I have no tach, I don't want to look down at my laptop everytime to see what my revs are. With the g-sensor it will even give you g-force, whp, and 1/4 time, uber doesn't give you any of that info.
