onefstek works at Intec, his car makes 500 whp and runs high 10's @ 136 on 92 octane pump gas and stock sleeves. I havn't heard great things about carb connection's tuning. I'd pick intec.

No he is just a good guy out of bellingham that has tuned many cars for a VERY good price. One of the best tuners in the PNW in my opinion.

bah, they're a good shop, but i would shoot over to Torque/HP freaks first.
i've heard good things about INTEC, and i think one of the guys there bought my old spoon exhaust...so that automatically gets a

I've been having the guys at carb connection work on my cars and friend's cars for about the last eight years. My turboed integra will be tuned there this week and should put out a decent amount of power.... They are a brilliant group of guys..... Their honda/acura mechanic just got a job offer where he can triple his income, so he won't be there anymore to tinker.... Alex, is a masterful tuner, and taught their honda/acura guy how to tune- so you'll still be in great hands by going to carb connnection!
They are used to working on $100,000+ toys for the rich and are the most trusted tuners for exotics/collectors in Washington. Back when I first started looking for a tuner- there was only C-Speed and Carb Connection here in western Washington and I talked to the guys at carb connection and felt confident that they knew what they were talking about, and have been happy with them ever since.....
I've also heard great things about Crescent (C-speed), Torque/horsepower freaks, and Groundzero Motorsports....
I'd say, go talk to each place or call and feel them out. Everybody has good and bad experiences with everytuner they have gone to- I've only had good experiences with Carb Connection, Groundzero, and Horsepower freaks. (There's always IPD for Volvos, they are a good bunch of guys too.) I've gone to others locally and in Oregon for different cars (or my friends cars) and have gotten bad impressions....
My best advice is to call each or, better yet, stop by and talk with the tuner- not the sales guy- and get yor own impression!
Good luck!

I've been to Intec and have purchased parts from them and witnessed tuning sessions on their own cars and customers cars. They treat customers cars just as if they were their own, and never push them to their limits. They are very smart at what they do because they know what they are doing. They can tune anything they have access too.
I dont know much about this carb place. I've heard good things about Torque freaks, but support Washington, not tax free Oregon
.
Dave is a great tuner, I know he works close with CRPTurbo and some of his customers. He's a great tuner for when he has the spare time and I wanted him to tune my setup but we all live busy lifes.
From what I've been told, Speedline (Jamie?) is supposed to be another AWESOME tuner and Neptune is putting out great numbers so there is another option. Although I dont remember them having a dyno. :scratches head:
Overall I think you need to think about what your management system is, who can tune that magement system the best, and of course your budget. You get what you pay for. A in the house dyno is always good too.

planeman01,
Depending on how far you want to drive, how long you want to wait, and how much you want to spend on tuning. There are a few good places/people on the NW area. As much as I would like you to come to http://www.intecracing.com so we can tune your car, I would also like to remind you that, you and only you can choose the place and people that you can trust with your car. Your car is your pride and joy, and tuning is the bigest part of owning a turbo car.
Check out http://www.intecracing.com website or call us at 253-872-0872 with any questiones.
Good luck. Stefan B. aka onefstek aka 98ctr
