Need some advice on oil leaks
I'm about to buy a 91 crx dx, it's auto, but there is an oil leak somewhere, I didn't have time to look at it well enough to find out where it is, but I'll go back tomorrow. I'm just wondering what are some common places for oils leaks, and how much time/money will it take to fix them? Thanks a lot.
It's not dizzy or headlights. I'm worried about the rear main seal? What kind of work time is put into that? Might I as well do it and swap trannies at the same time for the work it is (sorta a joke, sorta not)? Thanks folks.

The only thing that leaks on my baby is the head gasket. Everything else is peachy. The valve cover gasket can also be a problem, but that is the easiest fix in the world for less than $30!

I am taking care of my head gasket leak in a big way. I am building a new D15B2 with all new components and a few upgrades (A6 cam, some higher compression pistons, both the head a block remachined, newer springs in the head, baffled oilpan, conversion to MPFI, remanufactured 90 Civic Si transmission with LSD and new axles, and possibly a JR supercharger). I think that will effectively kill my oil leak when I swap in the new motor if it doesn't kill me first

I'm a newb still, so I dunno what that means, but I'll search it, thanks.

I've driven it, drives perfectly, no weird noises too. A/C has a hose leak so need to fix that too, but my dad and I will run compression tomorrow and stuff and we should do fine.
