Hey guys,

Seems like my airconditioner **** on me today.

It doesnt blow any cold air, although the compressor/unit is working... and when i do turn it on there is a noise comming from the passenger side/glovebox area... it sounds liek boiling water.. at first i thought it was the speaker.. as i turned of the car i hear a "Kshhh sshh" as if someones "boiling water" lol....

Is there some kind of air fitler that may be ******* my A/C up??

Perhaps a leak in the evaporator?

 

they normally make a noise when turned off which is the liguid exchanging to gas
hence the coolin effect,

Check the pressure on the return hose using a gauge which I doubt you have. Maybe low pressure due to a leak.

OR take it to an AC specialist.

 

Bah, its chilly now anyway... fall is comming, and all i got left is engine/tranny on my warranty... i guess il just leave that for another time.. next summer.

Just get a 4-1 JDM header with 2.5" collector and a 2.5" catback.
For a stock car , its a great mod.

Maybe i should drop the price a little, what do you think?? Selling R's seems to be a bitch! my neighbour w/a 01ITR w/JDM front w/only 34,000kms hasnt sold his either! he was asking 23k. Either way, i'm in no rush and if i dont sell ill just keep it and mod the hell outta it.

 

people shouldn't buy ITR's just to check out this art machine and sell it. It's very hard to sell them due to the insurance prices for them.
