where do you recommend for me to get the SiR front end conversion?
I would like to know, where you guys have gotten your SiR conversions for a crx? I would like to know what kind of condition you recieved the parts in, and how you rate the company that sold them to you.
I am looking for complete fenders w/ sidemarkers, hood, bumper, radiator support, all lights and accesories. Please make comments on condition of wireharnesses, especially if you got the fog lights along with the front end.
Also, if any of you have cut out the grill for an FMIC (which I will have to do) I would like some pics and/or comments.
THanks for all replies

Where I you located? If you are in the South east I recommend JHOT and Jarco Inc, both great companies out of Georgia; Jarco usually has better shipping though. We recieved a 180SX front end from JHOT back in the day sans body panels of course and the engine bay was all there, uncut wiring harness to the interior, all the fun stuff. We did order the body panels seperately, also in good condition saying they did have to get shipped half way around the world and they were 15 years old
Just peice it together from ebay, it's what I did and I saved about $300-$400. Also don't expect your parts to be perfect, there old there gonna be in "used" condition.
I am in South Florida. If you can give me phone numbers/websites, that would be the ****.
thanks to you guys already.

also, would anyone dare cut out the double grill for a fmic??? i seriously doubt my 3 inch thick core will sit behing the intact grill to begin with.
Hell no dont **** up the front bumper.
Here's to get you started, btw you don't need the whole fenders, your usdm ones are the same except for not having the whole cut out for sidemarkers but a dremel can take care of that.

you sir are a very helpful person, and I am very grateful. if i do decide to dremel out the fenders, i have a buddy who did a great job on his accord, just need to know where the placement would go.
anyways, this is a hopeless dream because i have a rather large intercooler that i plan to have sit in front of my a/c condeser, and thus I am required to cut out that bumper. **** man, i HAVE to replace my hood and fender (a lil issue from a maltempered family member with an axe), and my car NEEDS a paint job. considering the circumstances, i may have to keep it USDM rather than making the car look amazingly sexy-like, which would be pretty sad.
i guess i gotta wait till i blow my turbo sohc, and replace with some all muscle monstrousity to have the nice front bumper.
lets, have some votes:
-cut out that sexy bumper for my intercooler
-keep it USDM for the time being

I would say do this,
Buy the mugen replica byumper from password to fit the jdm front and also pick up a cf hood from them. That bumper should give you plenty of clearence for your intercooler plus you can still have the jdm front look. Then just pick up the rest of a WW urethane kit including side skirts, door caps and rear bumper.
Here's one for sale btw, then you could just sell the front bumper and use some of that money for the mugen replica from password.

ok, here's another question. you say I can use my stock fenders (91 crx si) with the front end. does that mean i can use my US spec corner lights as well? also, if i can use the original corner lights, are the SiR different in terms of coloring?

Ya, u can use the crx fenders, and corners with the sir front. The jdm corners are all clear, and dont have the 2nd bulb like the usdm.
also, the "t" bracket is a tuff one, the sir one wont help you any. What you want is a non vtec "t" bracket that had the sir style front end, They are a different shape, and will bolt right up, These however are hard to find!!
But, any "t" bracket can me MADE to fit with trimming.
