Default car starts but dies

ok i just swapped in a 96 ls motor into my 91 civic and converted to obd1. when i try and start it, it only starts if i have my hand covering the tb and once it gets started i have to let alittle air get by but if i remove my hand its like too much air and then dies. it cannot start unless i cover the tb.

well i got it to start now without having to cover the tb by adjusting the tps sensor but now i got another problem, when its running if i give it gas it dies and it still has a hard time holding the idle but it could be because number 2 injector isnt firing.

what harness are you using in the car? If you are using a dx harness you need to switch the two outer wires on the Tps. A dx sensor operates in reverse rotation compaired to a non dx model.
