i have a 91 si that aint running right, i takes for ever to crank and when it does it idles really rough and stalls after a min or two. got a code 3 which is map sense right... looked at senser and it is all melted frome when the thefs tried to light it on fire, the map make that big of deal, any other ideas...

 

the map is a very big deal...replace it

 

yep, the map sensor will cause the problems youre discribing. go to the junk yard and pick up a used one along with the connectors(if needed). that should fix your issue. hth.
