Default IB hit the track. LACR! 1.8 Liter GSR motor with Type-R rods, pistons, crank..etc...

First pass was a 12.8@104 MPH.

With a 1.85 60 foot.

I bet he does a 12.6 before the day is up. It was making 206 WHP with 137 lbs of torque.

The car weighed in at 2050.

The motor is now for sale...as its our test mule car....now on to the next motor, that motor is like 3 weeks old, fully broken in, tuned and now busted the time.

Anybody wants that motor, let me know...its going to be around Type-R motor pricing.

Jeff

Hey Jeff, why did you decide to use the type R crank versus the gsr?? I am going to be building up my gsr motor soon, and have access to a type r crank, but I am curious to what the benefits would be.

The ITR Crank comes pre-balanced and counterwieghted. Obviously its not a 10-11k rpm balance, but it's balanced nonetheless.

Jeff, was that on drag slicks? What tranny is he running? I'm just curious since I have a hatch of the same weight and a engine making very similar power, though my car is set-up for road race use.

I can get a message to Jeef. Bumping a 4 year old post is probably not the best way to contact him. He is not on Honda-Tech anymore.
