Default 89 accord head trouble?

ok, i got an 89 accord LX-i for my first car... and the car always seemed to have problems with the coolant... ( it was alllllways shitty brown ) even after i flushed it a few times and added anti corisive **** in there it would always get shitty again... does anyone seem to have that problem? i was told it was something to do with it having a cast block and **** like that? ...

is it an oily type mixture, or do you think you might have rust issues or corrosion in the radiator? that might be a few things that'll help us to help you diagnose.

oil or crud take your pick. If it is not oil, power flush and replace rad, water pump and hoses

The block and head are aluminum so you are not going to get scale associated with cast iron heads and aluminum heads.

like the other 2 said, if its not oil replace the radiator and flush the system.

it has nothing to do with having a cast block.

i don't think this has to do with the iron block that you have. i think it's just years of built up crap in your cooling system. flush it properly, replace the hoses and maybe the radiator.

if you have an oily coolant, then blame your headgasket.

remove the t-stat , stick a water hose in there and let it back flush for a long while ,,also in frt of engine below manifold there is a 17mm plug remove it to drain the old **** out of the block , as mentioned from other guys i would replace all hoses and have radiator flushed out as well , or replace it
