Default Upgrades for a 2004 Accord

Hey Guys. Whats going on I'm new to this whole import seen. I was just woundering what kind of small upgrades can I do to my accord? Well I know I can put an intake system in but I dont know what one? So some say I should stay away from cold air-intake, other say its alright. Some really suggest that I should get a short ram, they say i will loose some hp but it's not biggy to me. I'm just looking to improve extior, and under the hood from now, but nothing to big. So figured I would come and ask some the experts.

Best bet and will save you money....

Get an eBay cold air - $17
Get a Bypass Valve in case it rains - $not much
Get a K&N Filter - $30

Good gains and worth the money

IT mean In House Technician. I work for a computer company that sends out IT guys like me to a job site for how ever long it takes to fix the job. Today I'm working in Chase Bank in Manhattan. Or if u just work a compay and you do all their computer work for them.

i thought IT meant Information Technologies @_@, I used to do that back in Miami, I'd love a part time up here in Jersey after work somewhere but I cant seem to find anything. As for upgrades, you can hit me up on AIM, I can tell you a few little things you can do and help you pick out some parts.

Quick recommendation to Freakazoid, keep it on HT. Through AIM you're getting a one sided story. Here you can ask questions, people can provide pro's and con's for different mods, and you can make your own decisions based on what you learn.

If you are EXTREMELY new to the whole import thing, just sit around here and read man, more knowledge floating around this site than a Encyclopedia.

Also, search is your friend. Easy way to find info, without having to make a post.

OR...instead of messing with E-bay you can actually get a true intake ( i recommend short ram cause of rain and hydrolock). Don't mess with knock offs, it just isnt the same and when you open your hood, you wont be happy and the people looking in it will think you are totally lame for not buying real parts.

a true intake? wtf? an intake is a piece of alluminum pipe. An intake is an intake, unless you want to look cool paying for a name brand. Anyone who knows what they are talking about knows that it doesn't matter if you have "real parts"
