Default Take bumper off with 25" slicks??

I have an Integra with a JDM front end conversion and right now I have 24.5's. When I turn the wheel, the tires rub my bumper. Do most of you with street cars take your bumper off when running 25's or what do you do to keep from rubbing?

Besides the fact you would look like an idiot, i think it would kill the aero on the front of the car.

I am running 26's on my EG. Haven't done anything more than raise the car. Remember most tracks that use the NHRA rules will not allow you to run without the front bumper either.

jason which brand of 26's are you running cause some set kinda funky and rub more than others. You got a picture of your car in a stance so I can peep the rear sag and what my EG would kinda look like without cuts.

I feel like my front end is already pretty high but I can just try new things. I was just curious what people were trying.

Hey SFWD 1934. What offset are those rear bogarts. I like how they tuck in, unlike my Welds that seem to stick out. Also are those 22" rears, they look small?

15 x 3.5 with a 2 1/2 " backspacing. Yes the rears are 22" Mickey Thompson. Had them from another set up, didn't see spending the extra money for a different size at that time.

Thank you. No only sometimes on high boost runs, if I get nasty wheel spin, the slicks will expand and rub some of the paint slightly off of the bumper at the bottom. Not to bad though.

Ok when you say high boost what type of PSI you talking about usually when people go into high boost its after the 330 or the 1000 and you getting nasty wheel spin in that area. Sounds like real ******* HP's to me. Here i am thinking im hot **** cooking 24.5 in 3rd **** you talking expanding 26's and **** like that. SCCCAAAAARRRRRYYYYYY **** there.

When I was in Fontana a couple weeks ago, I was having a HUGE traction problem. I put the car into 4th with full boost at that point, and I had to pedal the car in and out of power 3 different times. Sometimes you don't realize how much you lose and that moment, because all that is going on. But when I was able to get back and look at the logger, damn that was nasty looking.

Most of the time I do not need to run as big as a lot of people might think. So before Fontana, I slapped it on the dyno, and tuned it for up to 27 PSI. The logger said I spiked at 24.8 PSI. Usually no more than 18-20 PSI though.

between 400-700! JK...

I just recenlty started running 25" slicks and had the car a bit too low. Every time I would break the nose of the car would dive down a bit or under high boost the tires would expand. Let's just say the tires made room for themselves.

Just raise your car up, and you'll be fine.
