Whats up guys.. I just bought a chipped P28 with supposedly a Mugen program. I was wondering if it is normal to throw a code with a chipped ECU? I havent had time to check the code but I will tonight. My car never threw a code before with the P72. Please let me know.

Update: I tried checking for a code and the CEL light just stayerd on, no blinking at all.

sounds like a bum ecu but i could be wrong.

If you tried checking for a code and it stays solid that may be an indication of a bad ECU.

Try cutting the jumper at J1 by the Mugen PROM. If the code goes away it is the chipping or your vehicle causing the code. If it stays the problem lies in the ECU.
