Default Trackday pics @ Thunderhill

Thanks to Big Pete for the great track day...so much track time I didn't know what to do with myself Can't wait to hit the track up again, this was my 2nd trackday and I'm hooked on it so bad I already know this is going to be an expensive hobby... I don't care though the reward is great

Maybe I missed this but, is the gix just your track bitch? Or did you get rid of the 1Krr? Excellent form, your really "kissing" those mirrors hehe So how did you like the medium Power Race tires?

thanks all, i had a blast. the 1000rr is gone, this is going to be my track and eventually afm race bike. i miss the power, but riding the 600 lets me concentrate on a lot more things rather than just hitting my turn point then hamfisting the throttle out of the turn. the power race tires were just as i expected, awesome. i loved the pilot powers so i only assumed the power races would be that much better and they were.

Looking great kurt Glad you had fun...you should have pulled a chair up to our pit area (didnt want you to sit by yourself).

I really need to get a faster bike. Getting killed on the straights is not too fun. I'm still waiting for gotbluemilk.com to post the pics from the trackday so I can decide whether I want to buy the pics.

Depends on who's holding the trackday. We suggest that people tape or unplug their lights.

thanks... yah i was okay, i was laying down in the back of my truck resting most of the time in between the sessions. i noticed dito hadnt posted the pics online either, i checked them out in his trailer and got a cd before i left. i didn't make it back to the track the next day either cause i was too pooped out from havin open track. i roasted my tires in one day too, damn it! yeah i definately missed having the 1000cc power on the track.... i would pass people in the turns and they'd catch up on the straights and then i'd pass on the turns etc etc.

Those are some good pics.. The camera guy was at some good vantage points.. very nice.. Track days are definately addicting.. I'm trying to get my friend to join the WSMC with me so we can get to the track a lot more and have some fun racing rather than just doin track days..
