will 88 crx fenders fit 91 corner lens
ok, here's what you do.
1) hack all the mounting brackets off your 90-91 corners... they just stick out and get in the way.
2) go the the hardware store and buy some 1" by 1/8" aluminum strips. cut two pieces about 8 inches in length.
3) drill a hole in one end of each strip. that end will bolt to the bracket that holds the front of the fenders to the car.
4) twist and contort the strip until the free end makes a nice flat mounting surface for the corner light wherever you want to mount it.
5) rough up the end of the strip and the flat surface on the corner light.
6) take the bumper off and get some masking tape. make sure everything's lined up exactly right, then epoxy the hell out of the light and slap it to the strip. tape it in place until it's tacky and will hold on its own. remove the newly epoxied parts and epoxy them again... slather them with that ****.
bolt everything back up and you're good to go. the alternative is getting new headlights and new fenders. i went with this route. it gives you a lot more flexibility when lining everything up, too, and i doubt they'll fall off anytime soon.
no pics of my brackets, but here's a pick installed... 90-91 corners on my 89 crx with stock fenders and headlights:

they will fit the fenders, notice how 90-91 fenders have the holes for the screws but no plastic clips in the holes, the fenders are identical.
I believe its the headlight buckets that are different.
get 90-91 headlight buckets Im about 99% positive thats where the corners screw to.

Did this the other day, just transfered the plastic clips from 88 fender to the fender from the 91 and i could use my 88 corner lights. The fenders are identical.
